Jail (Gaol)

When coming to the Kings County Museum, tours are available not only for the exhibit on display, but you also have a chance to see the Kings County Jail. The
jail was originally located in Kingston, New Brunswick and moved to Hampton in 1871. Its doors have been closed for use since 1970, but the stories of the jail still live on!

As of today, the near side of the  building is the old jail, and directly  connected to it is the Hampton library.  The jail is complete with artifacts from  the jails past and the time period in  which it was running.

Tour the jail and hear stories about the prisoners!
